Teachers - Literacy Support/Levelled Literacy Intervention (LLI)
Hi my name is Darlene Fry. I am a Literacy teacher at Morley Community School. I began with SEA in 2008 as a substitute teacher and then moved into a Grade one and a Grade three position at NES.
I am originally from the Kwanlin Dun First Nation in Whitehorse, Yukon. I moved to Calgary and finished high school and then continued my education at the University of Calgary where I got my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Bachelor of Education degrees. I have taught for approximately 19 years now in First Nations schools.
I love teaching because I find it challenging and I always have to be creative and I love to challenge my kids to do their best! I care for my kids and I want to see them do well in their school and their personal lives!
